Vietnam Airlines has announced that they will begin direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Beijing, China. Service will commence from December 15, 2010, and promotional fares for round trip travel start from VND5,830,000 (USD314).
The quoted price of USD314 is the lowest economy class fare available during the promotional period and does not include surcharges or taxes. Bookings must be made between November 20 and December 31, 2010, for travel between December 15, 2010, and January 31, 2011. The promotional fare is an ‘Economy Saver’ class ticket and changes are allowed for a fee of USD20.
The new non-stop flight VN 902 from Ho Chi Minh City to Beijing is scheduled for 3 departures per week on an Airbus A321. The total flight time is 4 hours and 50 minutes. This direct service is in addition to flight VN 900 which travels to from Ho Chi Minh City to Beijing with a stop-over in Hanoi.
